“Discipline, health and service standards must be maintained with the utmost professionalism. Besides, public trust must be gained through good behavior and exemplary behavior,” this is how Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Faruk Hossain gave a strong message to police members at the weekly master parade held at the Sirajganj Police Lines Parade Ground on Monday (July 21) morning.
After inspecting the parade and receiving the salute, he urged the on-duty police members to perform their duties with honesty, dedication and utmost professionalism.
“Good dress, cleanliness, health awareness, regular exercise and decent behavior with the public should be the essential qualities of a police officer. Every member of the police should brighten the image of the force through his work. If he cannot establish himself as a servant of the people, all his achievements will be in vain,” he said.
He awarded the ‘Good Service Mark’ to the officers and forces participating in the parade on Monday in evaluation of their physical fitness and cleanliness of clothes. Later, he inspected various units including the vehicle section and armory of the Police Lines and gave necessary directions.

Kamruzzaman (PPM), Additional Superintendent of Police in Shahjadpur Circle, Md. Nazran Rouf, Additional Superintendent of Police in Sirajganj Circle, Md. Asaduzzaman Shakil, Assistant Superintendent of Police in Ullapara Circle, Md. Rabiul Islam, Assistant Superintendent of Police in Kamarkhanda Circle as well as officers-in-charges of all police stations in the district and officers and members of various units of the police lines were also present in the event.
