Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has appointed Lt Colonel Md Munim Ferdous as the new director and spokesperson for its legal and media wing.

A notification, signed by RAB Director General (DG) Barrister Md Harun-or-Rashid, issued on Sunday in this regard.  He replaces former media wing commander Arafat Islam.

Lieutenant Colonel Ferdous, currently serving as the commander of RAB-5 in Rajshahi, will assume his new responsibilities later this week.

Current spokesperson Commander Arafat Hossain has been transferred to RAB-8. Commander Hossain had been serving as the spokesperson since April of this year.
