Finally, the much-discussed former Parliament Member for Sirajganj-2 Constituency Jannat-Ara-Talukder Henry and her husband former Chairman of local Zilla Parishad-Shamim Talukder Labu were arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-9 from Moulvibazar on Monday noon.

Moshihur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Public Relation Officer (PRO/Media Officer) of RAB-9 confirmed the matter to The Daily Sky on Monday afternoon.

RAB sources said, Jannat-Ara-Talukder Henry and her husband Labu had been remained absconding at the house of one Delwar Hossain Bachchu in Sonapur Borshijora area, also an outskirt of Moulvibazar town for long.

Acting on a tip-off, RAB forces conducted a drive and arrested them from the mentioned location. They were arrested in a case filed in connection with attacking and killing students and public during the Quota Reform Movement carried out by Students-Public jointly.

It is to be mentioned that, there is a mountain of allegations against Henry and her husband for accumulating crores of taka through illegal means in the last 15 year after Awami League government coming on the power.

She turned multibillionaire from just a school teacher creating wonder to the people.
