Although he was born normal, in 2016 he lost both hands due to electrocution on his way home from school. Then the indomitable Rabbi mastered writing first with his mouth and then with his foot. Physical disability could not be a hindrance in the field of education. This brilliant student obtained GPA-5 in the SSC exam this year.
The results published by the Chattogram Education Board on Sunday showed that the Rabbi got GPA-5 in the SSC examination. He took part in the SSC examination from Haji Tobarak Ali high school. He is the son of Bajlur Rahman of Bhatiari Union.
Locals say, only morale and indomitable will bring him success like healthy and normal students. Rabbi has brightened the faces of everyone including his parents by getting GPA-5 in SSC.
Rabbi’s father, Bazlur Rahman, said, “Much thanks to God. My son achieved this through determination and hard work. My son has the prayers and love of countless people.”
Rabbi said, “I never thought that I was physically disabled. My confidence was high all the time. Because of this, I got good results with people’s prayers and love. Rabbi dreams of becoming a teacher after completing his education in the future.”
Kanti Lal Acharya, Acting Headmaster of Haji Tobarak Ali High School, said, “We are impressed that Rabbi has achieved better results than other students despite being physically challenged. We are proud of him.”
