Rashed, known as the “Poster Boy of Muay Thai,” triumphed in the professional category by defeating Ritik Kalsi of India, while Omio, widely regarded as the “Golden Boy,” claimed the belt in the amateur division after besting Shahidul Islam.

The tournament featured 34 contestants from Bangladesh, India, Thailand, and Kyrgyzstan, who competed across 17 intense bouts. Among them, two Bangladeshi fighters and one Indian competitor earned title belts.

The event was officially inaugurated on Friday afternoon, with Yasin Islam Najel, CEO of the Double Horse Knockout Muay Thai Tournament, and the Ambassador of Thailand in attendance, underscoring the event’s regional significance.

The tournament concluded at 1:30 AM, with several other Bangladeshi fighters securing victories, including Sabit Abdullah, Arafat Usman, Hussein Muhammad Saddam, Radin Ahmed, Mahir Zidane, Saif Enam, Yasmin Islam Mahedi, Ghazali Banjid Zidan, Farah Noshin Bhuiyan, and Hafizur Rahman.

This successful showcase of combat sports has solidified Bangladesh’s position as a rising force in Muay Thai on the international stage.
