Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Samanta Lal Sen said that none of the two who were admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital among those injured in the Ratha Yatra in Bogura are safe.

He said we will try our best to ensure proper treatment. The government will bear all the medical expenses of those injured.

The health minister said these while visiting the patients who were seriously injured in the Rath Yatra and admitted at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Monday.

He said that the accident which took place during Rath Yatra was very shocking and sad. Neither of the two admitted is safe. Also, many of the injured are receiving treatment at local hospitals. I am in constant touch with the doctors. Also, the Director, Civil Surgeon, of Bogura Government Hospital has been directed to ensure proper and proper treatment of the injured.

At this time Professor Dr. Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam, the Director General of the Health Service, and officials of the Health Services Department were present.
