Saptak Sangeet Academy on Saturday evening organized several programmes including reception, discussion meeting and Gaan Adda at Utsab Community Centre of Muktijoddya Sangsad Complex in Sirajganj town.

In the beginning of programmes, Hasan Ali, Director of the Saptak Sangeet Academy delivered his welcome speech, while Engineer Anwar Hossain, prominent businessman and also social worker inaugurated the events. The programme was presided over by its adviser Mamun-a-Kayum.

Renowned singer, composer and artist of Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Beter Aminul Islam and eminent lyricist and composer Md. Milton Khandkar were accorded reception on behalf of the academy for their good works in the cultural arena.

Renowned businessman Abul Kalam Azad, Hamidul Islam and cultural personalities among others participated in the events.

Later, Jubair Jico, a popular singer of Sirajganj town rendered songs there to entertain the audiences.
