The interim government’s adviser for home affairs, Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain, announced that police personnel who will not return to work by Thursday will face termination.
Speaking to journalists on his first day at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (August 11), Sakhawat Hossain issued a stern warning to the police, stating, “If you do not return by Thursday, I will assume you are unwilling to work.”
He also mentioned that he has discussed the situation with the IGP, the Director General of RAB, and the Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
