Revised SSC exam schedule published

The date for the mathematics test in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations has been pushed back by one day, with the exams set to begin on April 10.

The Inter-Education Board released the revised schedule on Wednesday.

According to the schedule, the mathematics exam was initially planned for April 20, but it has now been rescheduled to April 21.

Notably, the SSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 will commence on April 10 and conclude on May 13.

The practical exams will be held from May 15 to May 22.

In 2025, a total of 1,490,142 candidates will sit for the examinations under nine general education boards, including 701,538 male and 788,604 female students. The exams will be conducted across 2,291 centres in 18,084 institutions.

Under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, a total of 294,726 students will sit for the exams, comprising 150,893 male and 143,833 female students. The number of exam centres is 725, with 9,063 institutions participating.

Meanwhile, under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, 143,313 students are registered, including 108,385 male and 34,928 female candidates.
