Entertainment Desk:
Actress Richi Solaiman, known for her graceful looks, charming smile, and powerful performances, is making a return to the small screen. A familiar face in Bangladeshi entertainment since the 1990s, Richi had moved to the United States with her husband, Rashek Malik, who currently serves as a detective in the New York Police Department. Though settled abroad, her passion for acting has always drawn her back to Dhaka from time to time.
Recently, the actress confirmed that she is once again ready to take on new roles. “It’s been a week since I came back to Dhaka. I’m spending some time with myself and my family, and I’ve already received several offers. I’ll step into work only if the story and character feel right,” Richi shared.
Her last appearance in Bangladesh was in the drama “Keno Dekha Holo Na”, which premiered on YouTube. The production, co-starring Samu Chowdhury, Sabiha Zaman, Mir Rabbi, and Mahima, was well-received by audiences eager to see her perform again after a long break. Speaking about the project, Richi noted, “Most dramas today carry similar storylines, but this one felt different, which is why I joined. These days, you need to truly understand the story and your character, otherwise the audience won’t connect.”
With her return to shooting, fans can look forward to seeing one of Bangladesh’s most admired actresses bring her artistry back to the screen.
