BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the upcoming elections will not be a “path strewn with flowers” and that the party will have to overcome numerous obstacles.

Speaking as the chief guest at BNP’s new member recruitment and renewal program at Heritage Resort in Narsingdi on Wednesday, he made these remarks.

Rizvi further criticized what he described as attempts by certain political groups to exploit situations for their own benefit, stating, “Even though some participated in the 2024 movement, they are now trying to fish in troubled waters. If you are obstructed during elections, how are you different from those who fled the country?”

The event was presided over by BNP Joint Secretary General and Narsingdi District BNP President Khairul Kabir Khokon.

Special guests included BNP Central Committee Organizational Secretary Kazi Saidul Alam Babul, Co-Organizational Secretary Nazrul Islam Azad, Freedom Fighter Affairs Secretary Zainal Abedin and Volunteer Affairs Co-Organizational Secretary Abdul Qadir Bhuiyan Jewel, among others.
