Indian Subcontinent’s famous singer Runa Laila shared a status on Facebook praising the trending song ‘Dushtu Kokil’ sung by Dilshad Nahar Kona in the movie ‘Toofan’. There, the living legendary artist also wished Kona “good luck” for her next song.

“I saw the movie ‘Toofan’ a few days ago ‍and liked it. The production of the film is good, Shakib Khan has also done well. The composition, singing and visuals of the two songs in the movie are very good. Both songs are very good, especially, I like ‘Dushtu Kokil Dakere Ku Ku Ku’ more. The tune is catchy and Kona’s singing is great. I wish her all the best for her future endeavours,” Runa Laila wrote on Facebook.

Dilshad Nahar Kona, the singer of the ‘Dushtu Kokil’ song, was very inspired by Runa’s post. In the comments of that post, she wrote, “Achievement of my entire life”. The composer of the song Akash Sen from Kolkata also commented there and thanked Runa Laila. He wrote, “Dear Runa Ma’am, it is a great honor for me. I wrote and composed the song. Thank you.” Commenting on that post, another renowned singer Ankhi Alamgir wrote, “All in all, the film is entertaining.”

When asked how it feels to be praised by a famous artist like Runa Laila, Kona said, “Runa Ma’am is my idol. I am very moved to receive such a compliment from her. Her prayers and love will enrich my musical career and help me move forward.”

The song ‘Dushtu Kokil’ from the movie ‘Toofan’ released last Eid-ul-Azha has become popular to music lovers. Earlier, the song ‘Dil Dil Dil’ sung by Kona duet with Emran also became very popular. Kona has already received the National Film Award as recognition.
