Entertainment Desk:
In a recent interview, actor Saif Ali Khan recounted the harrowing experience of being attacked in his Mumbai residence on 16 January 2025.
The assailant stabbed him multiple times, resulting in significant injuries to his neck, back, and waist. Following emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital, Khan was discharged after five days and is currently recuperating.
Reflecting on the incident, Khan shared the immediate reactions of his family.
His wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, was deeply distressed, making frantic calls for assistance. Their eight-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan, exhibited both concern and composure. Khan recalled Taimur asking him, “Are you going to die?” to which he reassured, “No.”
Taimur insisted on accompanying his father to the hospital, providing comfort during the ordeal. Khan expressed gratitude for his son’s presence, stating, “I felt good about it. And I also thought, if God forbid, something happens, I’d like for him to be there.”
On the professional front, Khan is set to star in the Netflix action thriller “Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins,” scheduled for release later this year.
