Various types of agricultural materials including seeds and fertilizers were distributed among the farmers in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district on Monday.

Raiganj Upazila Agriculture Office distributed the agri-materials for the nutrition garden through an ordinary function held in front of the Upazila Agriculture Office around 11:00 am on Monday.

According to the Agriculture Office sources, under the project of establishing nutrition garden at different uncultivated fallow lands and courtyards of houses, various sorts of agricultural materials including three types of seasonal vegetable seeds, six fruit seedlings, one seed storage container, a sack of organic fertilizer, chemical fertilizer, net, grate and signboard have been provided to 36 farmers of nine unions in the upazila.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Abdur Rouf, along with other officials, employees and farmers were also present in the event.
