A seminar on safe migration and skill development was held at the conference room of Institute of Marin Technology (IMT) in Sirajganj on Thursday. The seminar was arranged by the Institute of Marin Technology (IMT) in Sirajganj under the supervision of Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training with Engineer Md. Sirajul Islam, Principal of the institution in the chair.
Mir Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner in Sirajganj attended in the programme as chief guest, while Assistant Director of Sirajganj District Employment and Manpower Office Md. Anwar Hossain, Branch Manager of Probashi Kallyan Bank Md. Akhlakur Rahman Uzzal, Principal of Sirajganj Technical Training Center Md. Anwar Hossain, Syedabad Union Parishad Chairman Alhaz Md. Nabidul Islam, Rajapur Union Parishad Chairman Md. Chhoniya Sabur Akand, Senior Instructor of ITM Md Taufiqur Rahman, BRAC District Coordinator Md Raich Uddin and AD of the Directorate of Youth Development in Sirajganj Ahzarul Islam among others addressed on the occasion.
In the remark of chief guest, the Deputy Commissioner Mir Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman said, “Those, who will go abroad, should take technical training and must follow the government rules. None should go abroad through brokers. If you do so, you will fell into problem in future. This is why, all the people, who are interested to go abroad, should build themselves as skilled manpower. The government is ready to assist you in legal process. Otherwise, you will face hardship, if you go abroad through any broker or fraud. Consequently, all of you should be careful since now.”
