For a long time, there was a rumour that Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan would work in Hollywood. Then, this Eid, it was suddenly announced that he is going to do a new project with Bangladeshi-origin Hollywood director Asif Akbar.

Finally, it is learnt that Asif Akbar, famous for “Boneyard”, “Astro”, “The Commando”, “Smoke Field Lungs” and “MR-Nine”, is making a new movie in Hollywood. And Shakib Khan will be the protagonist in that movie.

The director himself confirmed the matter.

Asif Akbar said, “The script is currently being worked on. Shakib Khan has been selected for the film. He will be accompanied by two actresses. One from Bangladesh, the other will be from Hollywood. Not only that, the villain will be a familiar face from Hollywood.”

It is learnt that Shakib Khan is scheduled to go to the United States early next month. Everything will be finalised then.

If everything goes well, this will be Shakib Khan’s first Hollywood movie. This crime thriller movie is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2026.
