Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is going to start his new film “Soldier”. The actor recently returned from a two-month stay in the United States and is preparing to take on the lead role.

Although the shooting of “Soldier” was supposed to start this week, it has been postponed by another week.

According to sources, the shooting of this film will start from 5 October and Shakib Khan will start shooting on that day. The production has finalised preparations and confirmed additional cast members, with Tanjin Tisha, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee and ABM Suman joining the line-up alongside Shakib Khan. The film, described as a patriotic action drama, will be shot in Bangladesh and Thailand.

According to production sources, the project involves a team of more than 100 technicians from both local and international backgrounds. A stunt director with experience in Hollywood and Bollywood has been recruited, while Kamrul Hasan Khasru—known for his work on Monpura, Hawa and Debi—will serve as cinematographer.

The source further said that Shakib Khan has surprised the audience in every film after Corona pandemic. He can once again give a big push to the film industry with “Soldier”.

The “Soldier” is being made Shakib Fahad. He has already told several media outlets that although this film is based on a true story, there will be some drama in the story. It will be a powerful story film with patriotism, action and human emotions.

Soldier is planned for release outside of the traditional Eid schedule, with the production team hoping the film will provide a significant boost to the Bangladeshi film industry.
