Once known primarily for his work on TV dramas, Shamol Mawla has established himself as an exceptional actor across multiple platforms, including films and OTT projects. He’s been praised for his film roles and remains highly active in the OTT scene.

On the other hand, actress Sabila Nur, busy with TV dramas, has emerged as one of the leading actresses of her generation. She, too, has gained experience in OTT, having won an award for her brilliant performance in Shihab Shaheen’s web-series “Golam Mamun” at the end of last year.

Now, these two popular stars are teaming up for the first time in a drama called “Makorsha”, slated for release on Deepto TV this Eid-ul-Fitr. The drama is penned by Rebeka Sultana Keya and directed by Ragib Raihan Pial. The shoot has already been completed, and director Pial is thrilled with the performances delivered by Shamol and Sabila. He’s also excited about working with them.

Talking about the drama, Sabila Nur said, “It’s a suspenseful thriller, and the story unfolds with twists that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. I loved the storyline and my character. I gave the project my all, and I hope the audience will enjoy it.”

Director Pial added, “This is the first time these two have worked together, and they’ve both delivered exceptional performances. I’m very optimistic about ‘Makorsha’. The story is truly unique, and with their powerful acting, I believe the audience will be captivated.”

Shamol Mawla has been busy with other projects as well. His latest OVC, “Golden Plus TV”, directed by Mustafa Tarique Hadi, is now circulating online. He’s also starring in the Sumon Dhar directorial film “Agontuk”, which is currently streaming on iScreen. Additionally, Shamol is appearing in the new drama series “Sobuj Gram Shohorer Pathor”, directed by Ruman Runi, which is airing regularly on Boishakhi TV.

On the other hand, Sabila Nur recently has made her debut as an author with her first book, “Bhalobasha Otopor”, launched at this year’s Ekushey Book Fair. The book, published by Anannya Prokashoni, features ten different stories, as shared by Sabila herself.
