Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raz’s latest YouTube film “Shomporker Golpo” has struck an emotional chord with audience, earning widespread praise for its heartfelt portrayal of family relationships, emotions, pride, mistakes, and love.

Based on relatable family stories, the film has resonated strongly with viewers, helping it achieve a remarkable milestone of 10 million views within just three days of release.

Following the success of “Tomader Golpo”, “Shomporker Golpo” is the newest addition to Raz’s popular “Golpo” series. The two-hour-long film premiered on 10 January on the Cinemawala YouTube channel. Taking to social media, director Raz revealed that the film crossed 1 million views within five hours of its release and reached 10 million views in three days. As of now, the film has garnered more than 21,000 comments on YouTube, reflecting strong audience engagement.

Viewers have also shared enthusiastic responses on Facebook. In a Bengali drama group, user Labanya Akter Jenny wrote, “The last 20 minutes were so emotional that tears were bound to come to the corners of my eyes.” Another audience member, Zakia Sultana Shilpy, shared on her Facebook page, “Mostafa Kamal Raz’s production beautifully blends the complexity of civic life with rural tenderness. This classical portrayal of the tension of relationships and love feels like a soft nostalgic rain.”

Veteran actress Monira Mithu’s performance has received special acclaim. Expressing her gratitude on Facebook, she wrote, “In a day, messengers and mobile phones are being filled with unimaginable, incredible messages of praise. I have nothing to give director Raz except gratitude and prayers.”

Actors Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini, who previously appeared in “Tomader Golpo”, have returned in Shomporker Golpo, earning high praise from viewers for their performances.

The film also features an ensemble cast including Dilara Zaman, Saberi Alam, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Nader Chowdhury, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, MNU Raju, Deepa Khandaker, Sohel Khan, and Israt.
