Farhan Ahmed Jovan plays the role of Ashik while Naznin Nahar Niha will be seen as Jess. Imroz Shaon has directed the special Eid drama “Aashiqui” about the two artistes.
About the play, director Imroze Shaon said that many issues will be reflected through the drama. Just as there is a story of an artiste’s struggle and victory, there is also a great love story of a rich man’s mistress.
Ashik is a son of middle-class family. He comes to the city to fulfill his father’s dream and gets admitted to a college. He sings well and dreams of becoming a great singer. On the other hand, Jess, a girl from wealthy family, is a student of the same college. Jess has a great influence in the college campus.
This is not the case, finally Ashik and Jess’s introduction and love and marriage! Rather, this story has all the complex twists and turns. There is an extraordinary combination of joy and sadness.
The play will be released on CMV’s YouTube channel on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
