Ashraful Islam Joy & Sirajul Islam Shishir:

Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change said, “Once, country’s people known Sirajganj as a district of handloom and Jamuna river. But now, it is going to be famous for Rabindra University. So, establishing permanent campus for the university has now turned into a logical demand.”

She further said, “It’s a logical demand, so, there is nothing to be disappointed about it. You know, nothing is possible in our Bangladesh without long-term efforts. However, just hearing the name of this university, it creates a kind of poetic feelings, which will enrich the country’s culture, heritage and education system that I believe.”

Expressing hope of immediate launching the construction work of permanent campus for the Rabindra University, she said, “The interim government is very sincere about the construction of permanent campus. The issue has already been proposed to ECNEC and no one has any disagreement on this. So we have to select the right place now.”
