A film on Bangladesh national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam is being made in West Bengal, India. According to the media, Kolkata’s actor Kinjal Nanda will play the role of the rebel poet in this biopic directed by Abdul Alim.

Bangladeshi Model and actor Orchita Sporshia will play role of Kazi Nazrul’s wife Nargis in the project.

Sporshia has confirmed the news to the media. She said, “I’ve completed the initial discussion with the director of the movie. The official announcement will come later. I’m not allowed to reveal anything about the movie right now.”

It is known that Indian actor Ishaa Saha will play the role of Pramila Devi in the biopic.

Kharaj Mukhopadhyay (Fazlul Haque), Kanchana Maitra (Birjasundari Devi) and many other Tollywood actors are playing special roles in the biopic.

Joy Sarkar is in charge of music direction for the biopic. According to the sources, JB Production is producing the movie.
