Square Pharmaceuticals Director Anjan Chowdhury has announced plans to purchase 15 lakh shares of the company through the secondary or block market within the next 30 days, according to a disclosure on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday.

On the day of the announcement, Square Pharmaceuticals shares closed at Tk214.90 each, valuing the intended purchase at approximately Tk32 crore.

According to the shareholding report for November, Anjan Chowdhury currently holds 8.15 crore shares of Square Pharmaceuticals.

Earlier, between January and May last year, three Square Pharmaceuticals directors collectively purchased 70 lakh shares.
