The Ministry of Primary and Mass EducationThursday ordered to start of the class activities of the primary-level educational institutions in full swing.
In a letter from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Tuesday (August 13), this instruction was given to all district and upazila-level officials in the country.
In that letter, it is said that the class activities of the primary-level educational institutions under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education will be “started in full swing”. The effectiveness of the office order issued by the ministry on August 3 was also revoked. All government primary schools under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Shishu Kalyan Trust-run Shishu Kalyan Primary Schools, and learning centers of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education have been requested to take necessary measures to start full-fledged class activities.
Clashes took place at one point in the movement demanding quota reform. In view of this, from July 17, considering the safety of the students, primary schools were declared closed for an indefinite period. Later, a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed that all educational institutions will be opened from last Tuesday (August 6).
