Entertainment Desk:
Popular television actor Tanjin Tisha has confirmed that she will soon be making her silver screen debut, following weeks of speculation about her entry into films.
Known for her decade-long career in modelling and television dramas, Tisha has consistently drawn attention for her performances, but unlike many of her peers, she has yet to appear in cinema. Recent rumours linked her to two projects: “Bhalobasar Morsum” in West Bengal, which stalled due to visa complications, and Shakib Khan’s upcoming Dhallywood film “Soldier”, directed by Shakib Fahad. Industry sources suggest that while discussions for Soldier have been finalised verbally, a written contract is still pending, with shooting expected to begin this month.
Her fans, particularly on social media, have expressed strong interest in seeing her opposite Shakib Khan. Responding to questions at a recent event, Tisha said: “What my audience wants, I want too. I have always waited for a good project. I try to be selective with quality work.”
Confirming that a film is on the way, she added, “I will be seen in a movie very soon. Let it be a surprise.”
Acknowledging her supporters, Tisha said she owes her career to her audience: “I’m in this position today because of my audience. I believe that I have some genuine audience. I’m grateful to everyone for always giving me so much love and support.”
