A tank-lorry driver was killed in a road accident on Junglipur bridge in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj district.

The deceased is Sohag Mian, 45, son of late Lutfar Rahman of Matidali area in Bogura Sadar.

Police said, the accident took place at 5:00pm, when a front side wheel of the tank-lorry exploded with a big bank and overturn it on the bridge. The driver Sohag got stuck up under the tank-lorry and died on the spot.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
