Popular drama series “Bachelor Point” is bringing back one of its most loved characters. at a grand press conference held at Dhaka’s Hotel Intercontinental, director Kajal Arefin Ome officially announced that actor Tawsif Mahbub will reprise his role as Nehal in the ongoing fifth season of the series.

The series, which began airing in 2018, has become a cultural phenomenon with characters like Nehal, Kabila, Habu, Pasha, Rokeya, and Borhan winning over audiences. Tawsif exited the show after season three citing personal reasons, and while his character was referenced in season four, he never appeared on screen. Fans had been eagerly awaiting his return, and now season five will finally mark Nehal’s comeback.

Speaking at the event, Ome said, “The return of Nehal is wonderful news for the audience. Now, let’s see how his comeback story unfolds.”

Tawsif Mahbub also expressed his excitement, crediting the fans for his return: “Audiences always wanted Nehal back. I’m happy that through Bachelor Point, viewers will get to see me in this role again.”

Currently, new episodes of “Bachelor Point” Season 5 air every Thursday and Friday night on Boom Films’ YouTube channel, followed by telecasts on Channel i. Additionally, eight episodes are released together on Bongo’s OTT platform every second Thursday of the month.
