Masud Hasan Ujjal is one of the most talented and successful playwrights in the country. He has also made his name known on the cinema screen with “Unoponchash Batash”. He also has a music career, and in the meantime, he has formed the band “Omkar”.

This brilliant director was away from drama for a long time. Finally, he is coming up with new drama titled “Chupkotha”.  Two faces of this generation Tawsif Mahbub and Naznin Niha will play lead roles in the project.

Based on the story of lyricist Mohsin Mehedi, Ujjal himself has written the screenplay and dialogues of the drama.

“Chupkotha” is a romantic drama. Although the director believes that this is not just a love story. It can be said to be a story of love and nature. In Ujjal’s words, “The story is about love. However, various social issues have come up along with it. As is the case with any of my work. I always keep the issue of social responsibility in mind while making a film. This time too, it is the same. However, this time, while making a drama, I have probably made a movie. We shot in Srimangal- Jaflong and then Gazipur and Dhaka. It was a big event. We finished shooting on 27 May.”

The play Chupkotha will be aired a YouTube channel during the Eid festival.
