Six people, including the driver and passengers of a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw, were killed after a truck ran over their vehicle in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi on Saturday.

The accident occurred around 12:00 pm in front of Pancharbari on the Shibpur-Manohardi regional road, said Md Afzal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibpur Model Police Station.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
