Entertainment Desk:
After more than a decade, popular actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha is set to return to Bangladesh Television (BTV) through its upcoming Eid special magazine programme “Anandamela”. The actress will be seen performing to a medley of three songs for the show.
Speaking about her absence from BTV, Tisha said, “I’ve been so occupied with dramas and films that I haven’t taken part in any BTV programme for the past 12 years.”
“BTV projects have to be done at specific intervals because their shows follow a fixed schedule. But it’s not that I wasn’t offered anything—I received a few proposals over the years, but the timing just didn’t work out,” the actress added.
Tisha, who has been involved in dance, music, and acting since childhood, eventually chose to focus primarily on acting. For her performance in “Anandamela”, she took part in three days of rehearsals, with the final session held on Sunday.
For her performance, Tisha shared that she has danced to three songs — “Bahir Bole Dure Thakuk” from the film “Third Person Singular Number”, “Ami Banglar Hero” from “Ostitto”, and the Chattogram folk number “Modhu Hoi Hoi Bish Khawaila”.
The Eid special episode of “Anandamela” will be hosted by actress Masuma Rahman Nabila and actor Mamnun Emon.
Alongside Tisha, the dance segment will also feature performances by Sadia Islam Mou and Shobnom Bubly. A performance by veteran singer Runa Laila will also be included in the show.
