Bangladesh Television (BTV) has curated a four-part musical celebration this Eid-ul-Azha, featuring 13 renowned and emerging bands from across the country. The special series will offer audiences a festive blend of nostalgia and fresh sounds.
On the third day of Eid, fan-favourite band Chirkutt will take the stage at 7pm, promising familiar hits along with some surprises. The episode is directed by Nasir Uddin and hosted by Kazi Momrez Mahmud.
The fourth day arrangement begins at 4pm with performances from four emerging bands—F Minor, Mechanic, Natai, and Torun. Together, they will perform a total of eight songs. The segment will be hosted by Sebanti and directed by Abdullah Al Mamun.
Later that evening at 7pm, veteran bands Ark, Symphony, Orbit, and Rocks Bay Rock will take over the stage. Ark will perform hits like “Sweety Tumi Ar Kedo Na”, “Ekaki Ami Ekaki,” and “Ja Chhilo Arale Porichoy.” Symphony will deliver “Ekhono Prithibita Ki Darun Sejechhe” and “Je Chokhe Chhilo Bhalobasha,” while Orbit and Rocks Bay Rock will contribute with “Tumi Shudhu Amar,” “Oi El Re Baan,” and “Tumi Amar Odhora.”
The fifth and final day will feature the concluding performances at 7pm by Bijoy, Bengal Symphony, Shubhojatra, and Avash, with Abdullah Al Mamun once again directing the segment.
The multi-day musical series aims to celebrate both the festive spirit and the diverse soundscape of Bangladeshi band music, bridging generations through melodies and rhythm.
