The total number of voters in the country reached about 123.7 million, according to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

The Election Commission has published the final voter list based on last year’s update. The number of voters has increased by 1.54 per cent, as per local media reports.

AMM Nasir Uddin, CEC shared this information during the inauguration of the seventh National Voter’s Day on Sunday at the Election Building.

Additionally, the draft voter list published on January 02, 2024, included more than 1.8 million new voters.

However, some voters were excluded, and the names of deceased individuals were removed from the list.
