A view exchange meeting was held between the leaders and activists of Anti-discrimination Students Movement, Sirajganj District Unit, and the injured and family members of martyr victims in the last July-August uprising.

The programme was organized at Shaheed M Monsur Ali Auditorium on Wednesday evening with the initiative of Anti-discrimination Students Movement, Sirajganj District Unit.

Muntasir Hasan Mehdi, Coordinator of the students’ organization presided over the programme, while Mashrafi Sarker, Member of health affairs Central Sub-committee for Anti-discrimination Students Movement, Rifat Lodi, Student Representative of National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) in Dhaka, Imran Hossain, Student Representative of Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College and Hospital in Sirajganj and Salman Joarder, Coordinator of Anti-discrimination Students Movement, Sirajganj District Unit, among others spoke on the occasion in the event.

Speakers at the event urged the government to provide financial supports to the injured and martyrs’ families of July-August movement for their survival. Besides, they demanded trial against those, who opened fire on the peace-loving demonstrators uninterruptedly.
