Stating that BNP wants to work together with everyone, it’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman said, “We do not want to humiliate anyone, and we do not want to belittle anyone either. We want to work together with everyone and respect everyone’s opinions.”

He said this while speaking virtually as the chief guest at the BNP council in Naogaon on Monday.

Tarique Rahman said, “I want to tell those who are making reforms today that Shaheed Zia’s soldiers have already demanded these reforms.”

Addressing the leaders and activists, he said that the issues that BNP wants to reform, and what it wants to repair to build the state for the people, are all in the 31 points.

He also said, “If you listen to these 31 points of BNP and the statement of the government’s consensus commission, you will see that all the issues are in line. Only one or two issues may be different.”
