Bangladeshi actress Azmeri Haque Badhon says working with West Bengal director Srijit Mukherji was unpleasant.
“My shooting experience in Kolkata with Srijit was awful. My experience with that unit was very unpleasant,” she said in a recent interview with a news outlet.
“However, there were a few people who supported me—the cinematographer, the makeup artist, and actor Rahul Bose,” she said, adding, “They stood by me, and I will always remember their support because that time in my life will never come again.”
Badhon worked in Srijit’s film ‘Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Aseni’, released in 2021, where her character Muskan Juberi was appreciated by the audience even though the film did not receive widespread acclaim. It was her first work with a West Bengal director.
However, the actress said that despite the praise and awards, her experience working on the project was far from enjoyable.
