World Children’s Day and the Children Rights Week

District Administration and Bangladesh Shishu Academy jointly chalked out elaborate programmes in Sirajganj in observance of the World Children’s Day and the Children Rights Week.
Marking the World Children’s Day and the Children Rights Week, a colourful procession and a discussion meeting were held in Sirajganj on Sunday.
Mohammad Tofazzal Hossain, Acting Deputy Commissioner in Sirajganj inaugurated the marching of procession from the premises of Deputy Commissioner’s office at 10:00am. The procession also marched the main streets in the town. After this, a discussion meeting on the same occasion was held at Shaheed AK Shamsuddin Conference room of the DC office.
During the discussion, Mohammad Tofazzal Hossain said, “Today’s children will lead the country in future. So, we need to provide all kinds of facilities to build up their future. Children want a livable country in which they can grow up without any hindrance. This is why, we should make the country as livable and suitable for all children.”
Ganapati Roy, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) presided over by the discussion meeting.
Officials of the DC office and Shishu Academy in Sirajganj were also present in the event.
