Renowned director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, whose Eid-ul-Fitr drama ‘Tomader Golpo’ deeply moved audiences with its emotional storytelling, is back with another promising project for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Teaming up once again with Siddique Ahmed, he presents a new drama titled “Khotipuron”, starring Yash Rohan and Malaika Chowdhury.
“Khotipuron” is the second drama featuring Malaika, the sister of Mehazabien Chowdhury. She made her acting debut in ‘Sandhikshan’, which was also directed by Mostafa Kamal Raz.
Mostafa Kamal is keeping the storyline of “Khotipuron” a secret for the time being, but he did reveal a heartfelt message from the drama: “No mother loves her child with the hope of reciprocation. A mothe’’s love has no price. This is the most precious thing in the world.”
The shooting for “Khotipuron” was recently completed in various locations, both in Dhaka and outside the city. The cast features a talented lineup, including Nader Chowdhury, Monira Mithu, Rashed Mamun Apu, Sushma Sarkar, MNU Raju, Samu Chowdhury, Sharif Farzana Bushra, Aimon Shimla, Iqbal, and others.
Additionally, the drama includes a special song, sung and composed by Arfin Rumey, with lyrics penned by Robiul Islam Jibon. The editing and color arrangement have been expertly handled by Rashed Rabbi.
“Khotipuron” will be released on Cinemawala YouTube Channel on Eid-ul-Azha.
