Natore Correspondent:

A young man died after being bitten by a venomous snake in Lalpur upazila of Natore district.

The incident occurred on Thursday (September 25) morning at Hashimpur village under Arabab union.

The dead Mithun Chandra, 30, was the son of Satyen Chandra of that village.

Locals said that while Mithun was removing hay from a stack near his home, a venomous snake suddenly bit him. His family members rushed him to Lalpur Upazila Health Complex, but he died on the way.

Mokhlesur Rahman, chairman of Arabab Union Parishad, confirmed the incident and called it a tragic event.
