Police recovered the hanging body of a youth from a tree in Satkhira’s Shyamnagar on Monday.

The body was recovered around 7 am from Kalinchi area in the Madar River Char of the upazila.

The dead Yasin, 32, son of late Jabed Ali Gazi, was a resident of Jayakhali village under Koikhali union. He was a brick kiln worker by profession.

Shyamnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Humayun Kabir Molya said that on information, police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital morgue for autopsy. The matter is being investigated.
