The Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) authorities said that metro rail operation will be suspended from 5:30pm on Thursday due to unavoidable circumstances.

The last metro train from Motijheel station will depart at 5:30pm, DMTCL said in its official Facebook post.

Earlier, metro rail service has temporarily been suspended at Mirpur-11, Mirpur-10, Kazipara, and Shewrapara stations amid clashes between police and protesting students at Mirpur-10 in the capital on Thursday.
