The first test of the two- match test series between touring Bangladesh and hosts Pakistan, a part of the ICC World Test Championship, begins in Rawalpindi on Wednesday (August 21)
The match will kick-off at 11 am Bangladesh time at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh test team, which reached Pakistan on August 12, five days ahead of the original schedule to adjust with local conditions and to make training session there, will play the second and last test match against Pakistan on August 30.
Earlier, Bangladesh squad assembled in Lahore and conducted a three-day training session at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from August 14-16 before traveling to Rawalpindi on August 17 for the first Test
In the latest ICC World Test Championship, Bangladesh ranked 8th with one win and three defeats while Pakistan ranked 6th with two win and three defeats, among nine test playing countries.
Opener Sadman Islam of Bangladesh is likely to replace the injured opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy while former Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim returned the test side after missing the Sri Lanka tour.
