Dhaka-based Mir Group clarifies no affiliation with Chattogram-based Mir Group

The Dhaka-based Mir Group, also known as Mir Group of Companies, has issued a statement clarifying that it has no affiliation with the Chattogram-based Mir Group or the S. Alam Group.

The clarification comes in response to recent media reports that have caused confusion between the two business entities.

In the statement, the Dhaka-based Mir Group emphasized that their operations are exclusively focused on the construction and information technology sectors, where they have been contributing to the nation’s development since 1960. The group operates several esteemed ventures, including Mir Akhtar Hossain, Mir Cement, Mir Concrete Block, Mir Real Estate, and Mir Info Systems, among others.

These entities have consistently played a pivotal role in advancing the construction and IT sectors, both in Bangladesh and abroad, positioning the Dhaka-based Mir Group as a leader in these industries.
