Opener Tamim falls early

Bangladesh lost opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim early as they are batting first in the second ODI of the series against Afghanistan in Sharjah. Tamim scored 22 off 17 balls before being out off AM Ghazanfar.

Till writing this report, Bangladesh scored 38/1 after 6 overs. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, 7 and Soumya Sarkar 3 were in the batting.

Earlier, Bangladesh captain Shanto won the toss and decided to bat first. Wicketkeeper Batter Zaker Ali Anik made his debut today in the red-green jersey in the ODI format.

Jaker Ali replaces Mushfiqur Rahim, who was ruled out of the series due to a finger injury. Nasum Ahmed relplaces Legspinner Rishad Hossain.

Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Soumya Sarkar opened the innings for Bangladesh. Tamim was aggressive from the start. But he could not last long. He returned to Sajghar with 22 runs from 17 balls while blasting AM Ghazanfar.
