Two youths were killed and three others injured in a clash between two groups of juvenile gang at Nachole upazila of the district last night.

The deceased were identified as Masud Rana, 19, son of Ejabul Hoque of Kholsi village and Raihan Ali, 13, son of Abdur Rahim of Chandpara village, both of Nachole upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nachole Police Station Md. Monirul Islam said the clash ensued following exchange of hot words between the two groups around 11 pm at Mollikpur during a cultural function as they had an earlier enmity over a facebook post.

Three injured were admitted to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital as two of them were later shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.

Police recovered the bodies and sent to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
