Sheikh Mujib’s murals demolished in Moulvibazar

Two murals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, located at Muktijoddha Complex and upazila parishad of Kualura in Moulvibazar district, were demolished allegedly by  local Anti-Discrimination Students Movement and Chhatra Dal activists on Thursday.

They allegedly vandalized the murals with hammers.

Following the speech of the deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina addressing to the students, demonstrators carried out the rampage on Mujib’s murals in Moulvibazar.

After the demonstration, local Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Chaatra Dal, Bangladesh Islami Chaatra Shibir and Anti-Discrimination Students Movement leaders and activists addressed the crowd.

They said that after killing thousands of students and mass people Sheikh Hasina started new conspiracy and virtually attended with the Banned Chaatra League’s event. No sign of fascist Awami League involved to genocide can remain in the country.
