BNP Chairperson’s adviser Zainul Abedin Farroque has warned his party leaders and activists that the country may become unstable without a roadmap for election.

“If a roadmap for the election is not announced soon, the country’s instability will worsen. Moreover, further delays in holding the election will make the interim government lose its credibility.”

He made this statement on Monday morning at a meeting in front of the Jatiya Press Club.

As the chief guest, Zainul Abedin Farroque said, “The Awami League has deprived the people of everything. Their fascist system has ruined the political culture of our country.”

He also questioned the delay in the interim government’s announcement of Operation Devil Hunt to combat terrorism.

“Had this operation been conducted at the right time, the country wouldn’t have faced such chaos,” he remarked.

He also added, “The nationalist force does not want to come to power through votes of dead people.  Implement the necessary reforms within a short period of time and announce the election roadmap with a specific date. Otherwise, there will be instability. A new conspiracy will emerge. ”
