Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) confirmed that the two-time SAFF champions Bangladesh national women’s football team reached UAE on Tuesday.
The 31-member team, comprising 23 footballers, left Dhaka on Monday late night.
The South Asian Champions, who played their last match in October, will play two matches against the upper ranked opponents UAE national women’s football team after more than three months break as a part of their preparation for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 qualifiers, set to take place in July in Australia.
The first match, a FIFA-friendly, is scheduled for 26 February, followed by an unofficial match on 2 March.
