Jamalpur Correspondent:

Two people were killed and three others were injured in a triangular crash among two trucks and a motorbike on Jamalpur-Mymensingh highway at Jamalpur municipality area on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Juwel Akanda, 45, assistant of a truck driver and son of Munsur Alifrom Sankanda area and Shaon, 30, a motorbike driver from Bakshiganj upazila.

According to witnesses, a Mymensingh-bound truck hit a stationary truck around 5:15 AM when a motorbike also crashed into the truck, leaving two dead on the spot and three others injured.

On information, local firefighters rushed to the spot and sent the injured individuals to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital.

Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Abu Foysal confirmed the incident.
