The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee on Monday said it is reviewing concerns raised over two questions of the creative section in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Physics examination held earlier in the day.

In a statement, the committee said it is treating the matter with the utmost importance. If any error or inconsistency is found in the questions, necessary measures will be taken under the existing examination assessment policy to fully protect the interests of candidates and ensure that no student is disadvantaged.

The committee also said that, if necessary, full marks will be awarded to all the participating students for the concerned questions.

It urged examinees, guardians and all concerned not to be misled by rumours or misinformation regarding the issue.

The statement was signed by Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee and controller of examinations of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
