• Procession marches main streets in town

Hundreds of students from different educational institutions in Sirajganj town on Saturday staged demonstrations in the town to press home their demand.

They held a rally at Bazar Station area in the town. Besides, the agitating students brought out a procession that marched several main streets in the town and chanted several slogans demanding resignation of the incumbent government.

Tense situation is prevailing across the town centering the ongoing movement of the students.

Additional police personnel have been deployed at different important points in the town to avert any kind of untoward incident. The demonstration of the students was also concluded in the town in a peaceful manner.
